Waukesha West has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Cedarburg 63-39. Given Waukesha West's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Cedarburg is ranked 267th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Grafton was able to grind out a solid victory over Franklin on Thursday, taking the game 54-46. The victory was just what Grafton needed coming off of a 85-61 loss in their prior game.
The win makes it two in a row for Waukesha West and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Grafton, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
