Kern Valley waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Rosamond Roadrunners with a sharp 18-10 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncs also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
Ava Elliott was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emmalyn Bechtel, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Kern Valley hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rosamond struck out seven times.
Kern Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Rosamond, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-10.
