With a rough week,
Weatherford dropped out of the state's top 25 rankings. Weatherford fell from No. 24 to No. 28 after going 0-2 over the past week. The Kangaroos are ranked No. 146 in the nation, and have an overal record of 30-6.
Jered Rhodes was on fire this week, as he led 5A Region I District 4 with a .556 average, one home run and six RBIs. Meanwhile, the Kangaroos put together a 0-2 week.
Weatherford's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 13 hits and four walks to lead the league in both categories. The Kangaroos have given up a mere 155 hits on the year in addition to compiling 225 strikeouts.
Beau Burrows is the leader in that category with 67 Ks on the season.
Weatherford scored a league-best 34 runs this week, adding to its league-leading 314 runs on the season.
Dustin Williams leads the team with 47 runs scored and
Trooper Reynolds has a team-high 52 RBIs on the year.
