Clinton Christian Academy posted their closest win since November 21, 2023 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Center Place out 42-39. The win was just what Clinton Christian Academy needed coming off of a 48-26 defeat in their prior matchup.
Clinton Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Clara Hyke led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds. Hyke has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Carissa Compton, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Clinton Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Center Place, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
