Despite the loss, Garden Plain saw an underclassman step up: Reese Stuhlsatz scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds.
Garden Plain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Trinity Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Garden Plain will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. As for Trinity Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Emporia on Thursday.
