The Robertson Cardinals entered their tilt with the Socorro Warriors with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Robertson really took it to Socorro for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-8 victory at home. Robertson has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Robertson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arianna Martinez, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Lauren Conway, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Robertson's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Socorro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robertson will challenge West Las Vegas at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Socorro on the road again on Saturday and play against Bosque at 4:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
