Christian Educational Consortium's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jack Patterson, who scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds. Patterson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nathan Johnson, who scored 18 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Thomas Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Christian Educational Consortium, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomas Nelson will challenge Bethlehem at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they will head out on the road to face off against Evansville HomeSchool R at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
