Jamiyon Gray Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Mize's Jamiyon Gray, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Gray picked up 0.5 sacks, made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defended a pass. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (169) he has had since back in August of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Gray might have his next game, a road matchup with Heidelberg, circled on his calendar. Gray made six total tackles the last time he and the Oilers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Destin Mccray and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Heidelberg picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Destin Mccray. Mccray turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up a sack and making five total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for North Forrest, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Mccray. When Mccray last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles.

Ti?Jarian Barnes Delivers Electric Effort Vs Mize
While Ti?Jarian Barnes delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Collins. Despite the defeat, Barnes was still balling out as he rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
Collins now has a losing record at 3-4. Barnes and Collins will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Richton at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Heidelberg Gets a Boost from Craft in 58-0 Win
The second Heidelberg player making an appearance here is Chase Craft, and for good reason. He threw for 164 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing.
Unfortunately for North Forrest, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Craft. Craft rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 125 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Devin Tribble continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 22nd-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least five total tackles. He made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
