On Friday, Water Canyon was beaten by Kanab 75-43.
Kanab found their leader in underclassman Kyle Brown, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Brown is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Mortensen, who scored 15 points along with seven assists.
Water Canyon has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Kanab, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Water Canyon will take on Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Enterprise's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups. As for Kanab, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Millard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Millard is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
