The Miami Christian Victors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 79-73 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westwood Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Wednesday (55), Miami Christian still had to take the loss.
Westwood Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Taylor out in front who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jermaine Agyeman, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Miami Christian's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Westwood Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Westminster Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th. As for Westwood Christian, they will square off against Reagan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
