University Prep stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Yreka as University Prep made off with a 5-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for University Prep who now have five in a row.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Bailey Wurzer and
Max Manning, who scored.
University Prep pushed their record up to 11-0-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 4.0 goals per game. As for Yreka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Prep will face off against Lassen at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Allowing an average of 3.1 goals per game, Lassen has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this contest. Yreka will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Anderson at 4:30 p.m. on January 19th.
