The Gary Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 52-32 loss at the hands of Timpson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Gary in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost eight in a row.
Timpson was led to victory by Ceale Kruse and Natalie Johnson. Kruse scored ten points along with seven steals, while Johnson scored 23 points. Kruse is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Mckenley Wynn was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Gary has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season. As for Timpson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gary will square off against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Timpson, they will head out on the road to face off against the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
