The Lawrence County Red Devils are taking a road trip to  face off against the West Morgan Rebels  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Lawrence County's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1  runs per game  this season, so West Morgan's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask West Morgan). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Russellville on Monday, sneaking past  10-8.
 Lawrence County is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.3 runs over those games. West Morgan's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1.
