Pontiac had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  win over the Ottawa Pirates  on Tuesday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the   2-0 victory the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September.
 Pontiac had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14,  25-18.
  Alix Robinson paced Pontiac's offense, picking up 13 kills. Robinson got some help from 
 Sadie Moreno and her 17 assists. Moreno was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
 Pontiac is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record  this season. As for Ottawa, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-12.
 As of now, neither Pontiac nor Ottawa have any future games scheduled.
