Skiatook were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They put a hurting on Hale to the tune of 41-6. Skiatook's success was spearheaded by the efforts of junior Jayden Garner, who caught passes for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns, and senior Cody Evans, who passed for 138 yards and 3 touchdowns. One of the most memorable plays of the match was Garner's 58-yard touchdown rush in the second quarter.
Pryor can thank their lucky stars for their win over Grove last Friday. The final score was a hard-fought 40-39.
Their wins bumped Pryor to 1-2 and Skiatook to 3-0. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
