The Lehi Pioneers will challenge the Riverton Silverwolves at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lehi comes in on six and Riverton on 12.
Last Wednesday, Lehi beat Layton 9-4.

Abbi Harroun spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Sophie Bliss was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Mya Maughan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, while Riverton put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Copper Hills. Riverton was the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over Copper Hills. The result was nothing new for the Silverwolves, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Peyton Sanchez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Sanchez was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one double.
In other pitching news, Kaelyn Flynn looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Riverton got a massive performance out of Grace Leary, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Maggie Hamblin also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Riverton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in 12 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Lehi's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Riverton, their record is now 10-0.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lehi has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .457. However, it's not like Riverton struggles in that department as they've averaged .484. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
