 Meanwhile, Columbus East didn't have quite enough to beat Columbus North on Monday and fell  2-1. Columbus East has not had much luck with Columbus North recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
  Hermione Robinson spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on eight hits and racked up 13 Ks.
 Floyd Central's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Columbus East, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

It's a different story for Columbus East, though, as  they've  only  averaged .219. Will they be able to contain Floyd Central's hitters?
