SAGINAW, Mich. - After taking the lead in the fourth quarter,
Sexton (Lansing, Mich.) held on for a 26-21 victory over
Swan Valley (Saginaw, Mich.) on Saturday. The difference for the Big Reds was that
Malik Mack threw a touchdown to
Javon Cooney.
After trailing 14-0 at the half, the Vikings went ahead on a touchdown with 3:00 remaining in the fourth. Sexton finally took the lead for good when Mack threw a touchdown to Cooney with 2:00 left in the fourth quarter.
The loss snapped Swan Valley's 11-game winning streak.
The loss comes after Swan Valley defeated Garber 54-28 last week.
