Meanwhile, La Villa came up short against Premont on Tuesday and fell 45-34. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for La Villa in their matchups with Premont: they've now lost nine in a row.
Freer is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for La Villa, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Everything came up roses for Freer against La Villa in their previous meeting on January 3rd as the team secured a 62-23 victory. With Freer ahead 34-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
