The Windsor Academy Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 36 points or more this season. They took their matchup on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 88-29 victory over Central Georgia Arts. The win was just what Windsor Academy needed coming off of a 89-62 loss in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windsor Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reed Barr, who scored 21 points along with eight assists. Barr continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Houston, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Windsor Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Central Georgia Arts, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.
Windsor Academy will head out on the road to face off against Piedmont Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Piedmont Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Central Georgia Arts, they will be playing at home against Crisp Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Crisp Academy is ranked 575th, while Central Georgia Arts is ranked 592nd).
