Spackenkill jumped into the top 25 in the state rankings. Spackenkill moved up from No. 28 in the state all the way to No. 24 thanks to a 3-0 record over the past week. Led by manager Don Neise, the Spartans are ranked No. 1,309 in the nation with an overall record of 22-2.
Onteora had a successful week, as it won four total games to lead Section 9 Mid Hudson III. The Indians beat
Highland 5-2.
The Spartans' pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only 17 hits and five walks, both of which led the league.

Billy Winnis led the league in strikeouts this week with five. With 37 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks second in the league.
