Crestwood has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Lakewood Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakewood took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Crestwood, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Crestwood was able to grind out a solid win over the Falcons, taking the game 52-44.
Meanwhile, Lakewood came up short against the Bulldogs on Tuesday and fell 56-43.
Cedric Cisse put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 23 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played. Darius Spann was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Crestwood pushed their record up to 21-1 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.1 points per game. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
Crestwood didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Gators in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 62-56 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crestwood since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
