The Florence Eagles will square off against the Pisgah Dragons at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Pisgah will be up against a hot Florence team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Eagles never let Holmes County Central get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly 15 runs.

Hayden Carden made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, Kimberlee Beam was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-2. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Ralyn Champion was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one double.
Florence always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .944. They are 2-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Pisgah nor Southeast Lauderdale made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Dragons blew past the Tigers 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Like Florence, Pisgah also got a great game from a two-way player: Hallie McCurdy. On the mound, McCurdy kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Alyssa McMurtrey pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. McCurdy has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances. At bat, McCurdy went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while McMurtrey went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Avery Roeder, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Florence's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Pisgah, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
