The Lausanne Collegiate Lynx are taking a road trip to  square off against the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Lausanne Collegiate is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8  points per game  this season.
Last Tuesday, Lausanne Collegiate came up short against Memphis Home Education Association  and fell  51-44. While losing is never fun, the Lynx can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings  (they are ranked 78th, while Memphis Home Education Association are ranked fifth).

 Despite their  defeat, Lausanne Collegiate saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Marion Brewer, who  posted six  points and eight  assists, was perhaps the best of all. Those eight  assists gave  Brewer a new career-high.  Josh Taylor was another key player,  putting up eight points.
 Meanwhile, St. Benedict at Auburndale was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were  outmatched by Evangelical Christian and fell  65-36.
 St. Benedict at Auburndale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lausanne Collegiate, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
