The Blair-Taylor Wildcats pushed their score all the way to 68 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 74-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bangor. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Thursday (63), Blair-Taylor still had to take the loss.
Bangor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Horstman led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Horstman set a new season high mark in steals with five. Lucas Reed was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Blair-Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bangor, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Blair-Taylor will head out on the road to face off against Loyal at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bangor, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against New Lisbon at 7:00 p.m.
