Hasaan Klugh threw two touchdowns and ran for two more as
Central Cabarrus (Concord, N.C.) beat South Rowan (China Grove, N.C.) 62-0 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Klugh touchdown run in the first quarter, the Vikings were up 48-0 at the half.
Central Cabarrus grew its lead to 55 points entering the fourth quarter. CC's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown pass by Klugh to
Riley McGee.
Daiyaan Fuller and Klugh ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Raiders. Fuller scored two touchdowns on the ground and Klugh added two as well.
Klugh was the top performer for the Concord school. He threw two touchdowns.
Coming into the game the Vikings had allowed 26.3 points per game this year. Central Cabarrus held firm on the defensive front, and kept South Rowan below the 6.9 points it had been averaging per game.
South Rowan (0-8) will play a 3A Conference 7 game against Hickory Ridge next week, while Central Cabarrus (7-1) will take on Cox Mill also in a 3A Conference 7 game.
