Agawam is 0-4 against the Thunder since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Agawam Brownies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Taconic Thunder at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Agawam came up short against the Generals and fell 74-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (61), Agawam still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Taconic unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Pittsfield 68-62. The game was a 27-27 toss-up at halftime, but Taconic couldn't quite close it out.
Agawam's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5. As for Taconic, their loss ended a 20-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3.
