The Tempe Buffaloes won the last time they faced the Goldwater Bulldogs, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Tempe strolled past Goldwater with points to spare, taking the game 66-49.
Tempe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kamron Jackson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'michael Keeton, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals and 3 blocks.
Tempe's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Goldwater, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tempe won't have much time to rest: their next match is against American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tempe in Arizona (American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North is ranked 32nd, while Tempe is ranked 177th). As for Goldwater, they will be playing at home against Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
