The Freedom Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Hylton 61-20 on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-10.
Savannah Price continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Akinyemi, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Freedom has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Hylton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-16.
Freedom will be playing at home against Osbourn Park at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Osbourn Park is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Hylton, they will head out on the road to challenge Charles J. Colgan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Charles J. Colgan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hylton in Virginia (Charles J. Colgan is ranked 139th, while Hylton is ranked 353rd).
