The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Glenwood Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, Lee-Scott Academy took their contest with ease, bagging a 71-32 win over Dadeville. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Tigers are ranked 408th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lee-Scott Academy relied on the efforts of Haiden Harper, who went 7 of 14 en route to 20 points and four steals, and Chapman Harris, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 15 points. The dominant performance also gave Harris a new career-high in assists (four). William Liles was another key player, putting up eight points.
Lee-Scott Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Glenwood waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victor by a 79-53 margin over the Bobcats.
Glenwood's win came from a few key players Lee-Scott Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Braylen Alexander, who went 8 for 18 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadarian Holloway, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 18 points in addition to six boards and five assists.
Lee-Scott Academy pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Glenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Lee-Scott Academy and Glenwood are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Lee-Scott Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 67.8 points per game. However, it's not like Glenwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 66.1 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Lee-Scott Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Glenwood in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 44-35. Does Lee-Scott Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Glenwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
