Parkston had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Alcester-Hudson Cubs 65-35. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  matches by 20  points or more this season.
The  victory was  the fourth in a row for Parkston, bringing their record for this year to 16-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.5 points. As for Alcester-Hudson, they moved to 13-9 with that  defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 Coming up, Parkston and Freeman will face off  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Freeman knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Parkston likes a good challenge. Alcester-Hudson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
