Two dominant guards in Ashton Arrowood and Jalyn Connor are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Greater Cabarrus S Stallions will be home for the holidays to greet the Lab University Prep Regional Kings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Lab University Prep Regional is hoping to do what NC H couldn't on Friday: put an end to Greater Cabarrus S's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Everything went Greater Cabarrus S's way against NC H as Greater Cabarrus S made off with a 64-44 win.

Greater Cabarrus S can attribute much of their success to Cody Pearson, who posted 14 points, and Christian Sturdivant, who put up 16 points. The dominant performance gave Sturdivant a new career-high in points. Colt Crump was another key player, putting up ten points.
Meanwhile, Lab University Prep Regional was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Australian National Team (Australia) 102-35. The contest marked the Kings' most dominant victory of the season.
Greater Cabarrus S better focus on containing Connor and James Wood as the pair were huge in Lab University Prep Regional's win. Connor went 17 of 24 on his way to 38 points, while Wood went 10 of 15 on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. Wood's afternoon made it 14 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Imade, who had 12 points.
Lab University Prep Regional was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Greater Cabarrus S has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Lab University Prep Regional, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Greater Cabarrus S and Lab University Prep Regional are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Greater Cabarrus S hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.7 points per game. However, it's not like Lab University Prep Regional struggles in that department as they've been averaging 78.6 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
