The Berwick Panthers were the 44-8 winner over the Patterson Lumberjacks when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Berwick fell 37-30 to the Lumberjacks on Tuesday.
Ella Bosman and Azyria Garrison certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Bosman almost dropped a triple-double on ten points, 14 rebounds, and nine steals, while Garrison scored five points along with ten rebounds and four blocks. Garrison is crushing the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Berwick's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Patterson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berwick will take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Patterson, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. E.D. White presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Lumberjacks in Louisiana (the Cardinals are ranked 86th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 299th).
