Basketball Recap: Alex Kochara's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northern Bedford County over Forbes Road

Northern Bedford County lost against Forbes Road back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Northern Bedford County Panthers took a 70-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Forbes Road.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alex Kochara, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Kochara a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wesley Horsh, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten assists.

Northern Bedford County now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Forbes Road, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northern Bedford County will welcome Southern Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northern Bedford County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Southern Fulton likes a good challenge. As for Forbes Road, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
