Even though the Stanton Buffaloes have not done well against the Colorado Wolves recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Stanton snuck past Colorado with a 64-59 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Stanton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nic Haas, who scored 22 points. Jahir Galindo was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Stanton's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Colorado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
Stanton will be playing at home against Forsan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colorado's road trip will continue as they head out to face Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th.
