Carrboro came out on top against South Granville on Monday thanks in part to Andrew Jones's efforts. Jones was unstoppable, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He has become a key player for Carrboro: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
