Baltimore City Division III recap October 1, 2013
Carver Vo-Tech added to the longest winning streak in Baltimore City Division III this week by beating National Academy Foundation, 16-6. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Maritime Academy was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. The Lions vanquished the Lions 20-0 earlier in the week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when New Era Academy takes on Bluford Drew Jemison Academy/Civitas. As it stands, New Era Academy is in sixth, while Bluford Drew Jemison Academy/Civitas is in seventh.
Friendship Academy Engineering & Tech made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,256 from 13,367. The improvement was the result of a 30-0 victory over New Era Academy last week.
