It was another big night for Decavian Duncan, who scored 37 points along with five assists and five rebounds for Winnfield. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Duncan has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaylon Jackson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Jonesboro-Hodge's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Winnfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jonesboro-Hodge will face off against Many at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Louisiana (Jonesboro-Hodge is ranked 317th, while Many is ranked 303rd). As for Winnfield, they will head out on the road to take on Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Winnfield is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
