After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Notre Dame, the Green Bobcats were happy to have found some success on Monday. They came out on top against Manchester by a score of 57-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Green also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2019.
Green found their leader in underclassman Abbie Knapp, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Knapp has scored at least a third of Green's points. Matti Hayslip was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Green's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Manchester, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green will challenge the Mohawks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwest is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. Manchester is on the road again on Thursday and plays the Blue Jays at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th.
