The Sandy Valley Sidewinders are ranked highly in their home state, and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Beaver Dam Diamondback. Sandy Valley blew past Beaver Dam 40-16. Considering Sandy Valley has won five matchups by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sandy Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deivi Pedraza, who rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Tage Colon, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Sandy Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Beaver Dam, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Sandy Valley will head out on the road to face off against Tonopah at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Tonopah will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Beaver Dam does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
