They walked away with a 49-39 win over Benton. For Chillicothe, this counts as revenge for the 50-39 loss the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.
Chillicothe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Liz Oliver led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Kayanna Cranmer was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Chillicothe's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Benton, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
