The Harvey Red Raiders won against the Lakeside Dragons last Friday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Harvey came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 59-47. The win was familiar territory for Harvey who now have three in a row.
Harvey's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chase Goines, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Braylon Johnson, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Harvey's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. As for Lakeside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvey will face off against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Perry will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. As for Lakeside, they will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Geneva presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Dragons in Ohio (the Eagles are ranked 218th, while the Dragons are ranked 622nd).
