Bluegrass United lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being William Moore, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Sammy King was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Bluegrass United has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Lafayette, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Bluegrass United will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Richmond HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. Richmond HomeSchool is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Lafayette, they will head out on the road to take on Paris at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
