The Adair Warriors will square off against the Bristow Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Adair didn't have too much trouble with Kansas at home as they won 53-38. Given Adair's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while Kansas is ranked 204th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Bristow came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Colcord 83-40 on the road. Bristow has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bristow to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addi Alexander, who scored 17 points along with seven steals and five assists. Alexander hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Shalyn Edmondson was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Adair is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Bristow, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
