The McComb Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Bogue Chitto Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Meanwhile, Bogue Chitto didn't have quite enough to beat Wesson on Tuesday and fell 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bobcats have suffered against the Cobras since April 6, 2021.
Tucker Kyzar put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Kyzar was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
McComb beat Bogue Chitto 18-14 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for McComb since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
