Field won against Springfield on Monday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Falcons blew past the Spartans 12-2. Considering the Falcons have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Field has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Springfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Field is set to challenge their familiar foe Streetsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.3, the Rockets 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Springfield will take on rival St. Vincent-St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
