The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Glenwood by a score of 24-14 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for Lee-Scott Academy as they're now sitting on eight straight.
It was another big night for Jake White, who picked up 90 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
When it comes to explaining why Glenwood lost, one person who can't be blamed is Levi Pinder. Despite the final result, he threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes.
Lee-Scott Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Glenwood, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2.
