The Los Amigos Lobos will challenge the Anaheim Colonists at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Los Amigos is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
While Los Amigos' win against Savanna wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lobos had just enough and edged out the Rebels 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lobos have posted since February 24th.
Sophia Gutierrez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
