The Millard Eagles just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Delta Rabbits at 7:00 p.m. on November 29th. Millard is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Millard's 19-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Milford on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Delta had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 78-52 walloping at the hands of South Summit last Tuesday.
Cai Henderson put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 31 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaytn Brough, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds.
Millard's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Delta, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything went Millard's way against Delta in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as Millard made off with a 64-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Millard since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
