Miller sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 33-30 win over Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]. The win made it back-to-back wins for Miller.
Despite the loss, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] had strong showings from OLIVIA MIKKELSEN, who scored eight points along with three steals, and KAYDEN CRONIN, who scored five points along with nine rebounds.
Miller pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven], their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miller will take on Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven], they will head out on the road to face off against Highmore/Harrold at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
